Jerry Yettaw was a half-owner of the Vega and one of the three men lost in its June 1914 burning off Beaver Island. The held scrapbook reprint identifies him as the son of Dennis Yettan; the June 27 Herald uses the spelling Yettan, while the later recovery report uses Yettaw.
