Summary
The Beaver Island Medical Center Auxiliary led a project in 1972 to duplicate the size of the Medical Center. The February Beaver Beacon identifies Mrs. William Welke as president and describes planned improvements to X-ray, laboratory, storage, funeral-parlor, and clinic space.
Evidence and limits
The Auxiliary’s report is a project announcement and appeal. It does not supply the group’s incorporation, membership, fundraising total, contractor, permit, or proof that the proposed work was completed.
