In February 2016, the Little Traverse Conservancy sought a volunteer to monitor an American Kestrel nest box at Little Sand Bay Preserve. The notice said the monitoring would occur for about 30 minutes every other week and that reports would be submitted to a national program. A follow-up reported that the opening was filled.

Evidence limits

The forum documents the recruitment and reported filling of the position, but not the volunteer’s identity or later monitoring results.
