Summary
At its February 1961 meeting, the Beaver Island Civic Association decided by a majority vote to eradicate the existing fish in Fox Lake and restock desirable species. Max Hunt outlined timing alternatives, and the Association chose the quickest route, accepting the loss of a summer fishing season.

The March notice records the decision and conditional plan. It does not itself prove the treatment, fish removal, or restocking; later June and December reports are modeled separately.
