A vertically oriented nautical chart shows a large inland waterway surrounded by detailed shorelines, shallow-water areas, navigation lines, compass roses, depth markings, and explanatory text. Yellow land areas border a pale blue water body, with numerous place labels, symbols, and measurement scales printed across the sheet.
