Be sure to allow extra travel time to arrive at the boat dock on time. Vehicles must be checked in 1 and 1/2 hour before schedule departure time and the shuttle bus leaves the overnight parking lots 40 minutes prior to departure time. Giving yourself extra time to check in and park your vehicle will get your vacation off to a smooth start. The Michigan Department of Transportation has approved the local request to close Bridge Street during certain parts of the festival.
