Nbisiing, Into Water, and Ozigwan by Ojibwe filmmaker Cole Forrest explore cultural connections to water, ceremony, and ancestry, each with a distinct storytelling style. A twinning ceremony between Ireland's Árainn Mhór Island and Beaver Island represents a long history of exile and community from 1851 tracing back to modern day. A newsreel by Corey and Stephanie Adkins, spending a day with traveling musicians across the Island in 2009. Keep an eye out for familiar places and faces in this powerful tribute.
