Below the waterline, NOAA's acoustic grid as a depth tint with 10 m contours, and the four inland lakes the Michigan DNR has sounded drawn as basins at 2 m — Lake Geneserath's floor 5.4 m below Lake Michigan datum though its surface stands 9.9 m above it. On the land, USDA NAIP 2022 at 60 cm, with the 2018 bare-earth lidar hillshade multiplied into the photograph so the beach-ridge sequence reads through forest the camera saw flat. The picture is 2022 and the shape is 2018: on a forested island the canopy photographed is not the canopy that was flown.
