Summary
Ed Wogan is named in December 1974 as one of the donors who pledged $4,000 to assist construction of the emergency-aircraft hangar at Beaver Island airport. A February 1975 Beacon follow-up reports the identical $4,000 lottery-winnings gift under the spelling “Ed and Connie Wojan,” and this record is a probable episode duplicate of Edward Bruce Wojan, where the fuller biography is kept, including his 1972 zoning-committee service, 1974 snowmobile-race finish and 1976 real-estate work.
Evidence and limits
This is an episode-qualified record on its own; the identity bridge rests on the matching donor pair, matching donation amount and the same airport-hangar project appearing under both spellings within three months, rather than an explicit statement equating the two notices. No source states the individual split of the pledge between Ed and Connie Wogan/Wojan.
