Both boards are blank. The paint has weathered off entirely, leaving a faint incised arrow on the upper board and illegible traces on the lower one.

The junction is the Y, where Buffalo’s Camp Trail divides and the North Lake Trail forks north. It is signed — see The North Lake Trail marker at the Y, 2026, photographed twenty-six seconds later — but half of what stands there no longer carries a readable direction.
