Summary
This record represents current Michigan DNR parcel 1114349, with reported area 4.57 acres and division/department Wildlife Division. It is a state parcel-geometry and management record, not a county tax card or deed.
Legal description and current classification
The held source gives this legal-description text:
South 2 rods of the West 40 acres of Government Lot 3, ANDa parcel described as commencing at the SE corner of the NW 1/4 of SW 1/4 of said section, th. East along the South line of Government Lot 3, (being erroneously recorded in Liber 157, Page 96, Charlevoix County Records, as the South line of the NW 1/4 of the SE 1/4), a distance of 800 feet, for the point of beginning of this description, th. continuing East along said South line a distance of 520.0 feet, th. North 333.0 feet to a point, th. West a distance of 520.0 feet parallel to the South line of said Government Lot 3, th. South 333.0 feet to the point of begining, EXCEPT the South 2 rods.
The source fields are preserved as data evidence. A DNR division label can support a cautious statement about the agency’s mapped management assignment; it does not establish the full chain of title or identify a private propertyholder.
