Summary

The Beaver Island Fire Department Auxiliary purchased bright-orange 911 emergency phone stickers and made them available free of charge in February 1997. The announcement says the stickers were intended as a constant reminder that Fire, EMS, and the Sheriff’s Department could be reached at 911.

They were available at McDonough’s Market, Clarkson’s Groceries & Provisions, the Beaver Island Rural Health Center, and the Sheriff’s sub-station.

Evidence limits

The notice documents the purchase and distribution points, but not the number of stickers distributed or the date the supply was exhausted.
