Summary

The April 1969 Beaver Beacon reported the deaths of William Wittenburg, a Beaver Island summer resident; Warren Townsend, a former High Island owner who kept a Beaver Island home; Ruth Lyons, who died at Little Traverse Hospital; and Emma Susanka, who was born on Beaver Island in 1883. The May issue later reported Anna M. Drescher’s May 19 burial at Holy Cross Cemetery.
