Summary
The June 2009 Beaver Beacon reported that Art Johnston had died after a lengthy illness. Its memorial notice recalls his family’s mid-1950s Beaver Lodge project, his work as construction manager and the Lodge’s first manager with Dorothy, his Civic Association activity, and his 1955 suggestion that the association’s newsletter be called the Beaver Beacon.
