Summary

August through October 1964 classified advertisements offered several Beaver Island properties: a six-room, partly furnished home overlooking St. James Harbor through Mrs. Sybil Larsen; a six-room house east of the new Episcopal Chapel through Norbert M. Gallagher; a partly furnished one-room log cabin called McCourts Cabin on Kings Highway for $2,500 through Mrs. Chester Chmura; and a 160-acre income- property farm through Box A of the Beaver Beacon. The September issue repeated the two house listings and added a three-room cabin on a large lot near town through Box B; the October issue repeated the two harbor-area house listings.

Evidence and limits

These are listings, not completed transactions. They do not establish sale, ownership, title, exact parcels, complete addresses, or an exact location for the farm and cabin.
