Summary
The August 1958 Beaver Beacon corrects its attribution of miniature golf, asks for help locating a missing stapler and obtaining a standard typewriter for stencil work, and reminds readers that BICA membership includes the monthly paper. The September issue adds a request that submitted news be signed by the reporter and that members include postal-zone numbers with their addresses. The October issue adds a title correction, an extra stapler gift, a Northern Michigan Skipper reprint acknowledgment, and a humorous “Beaver Bacon” mailing notice. The December issue records the Skipper editor’s interest, another monthly-membership reminder, an invitation for reader humor, and Virginia Calabro’s departure as an addressing helper. The January 1959 issue celebrates four years of publication, recalls Doc Bales’s founding suggestion, and thanks members for supporting the paper.
Evidence limits
The notices do not provide equipment inventories, membership rolls, accounts, or a production log.
