Summary

After delivering heating oil to Beaver Island, the buoy-tender Acacia became stuck on an ice formation during its return toward Charlevoix. The Coast Guard cutter Biscayne Bay came from St. Ignace and freed it.

Evidence limits

The Beacon account gives the operational narrative but not official vessel logs or exact coordinates.
