Summary

The February 1998 Beaver Beacon describes the Beaver Island Booster Club as a volunteer parent group supporting BICS athletics. Its fundraisers included home-game admissions and concessions and an every-other-Friday hot lunch. Over the prior four and a half years, the club funded uniforms for soccer, volleyball, basketball, and track, helped buy two microwaves, and contributed $2,500 toward new gym bleachers.
