Summary
After passengers and snowmobilers spotted the icebound Capt. Ralph Tucker north of Garden Island, Bud Martin contacted the Coast Guard and the ship. Islanders visited the vessel by snowmobile and kept in contact while it tested its route and departed with an icebreaker.
