Summary
In spring 1963, Beaver Island volunteers improved three public or communal sites. The June Beaver Beacon says Holy Cross Cemetery was raked, fertilized, and seeded; St. James Township Cemetery was cleaned; and the public swimming beach was painted, repaired, and raked. Plans were being made for a diving raft.
