Summary
After Peaine Township received artifacts associated with Chief Peaine and his time, Island craftsman Dan Gentle designed and completed a custom display case from Beaver Island white cedar. The Beacon described the case as an appropriately respectful enclosure for the Chief’s war clubs and other objects.
