Summary
The Civic Association’s January 1985 report proposed more professional publications, magazine outreach, gradual family and all-season tourism growth, and a tourist-information office. Its April 1986 retrospective reported the 1985 “Pure and Simple” brochure, Tourist Office, and information telephone as working community services.
Evidence limits
The earlier sources describe plans; the later report describes operation but is not a complete office ledger, brochure distribution list, budget, or independent measure of tourism change.
