Summary
Central Michigan University’s Biological Station and the Beaver Island Historical Society announced two August 1, 2015 scientific cruises aboard the M.V. Chippewa. Participants were to collect live samples in Lake Michigan using research equipment and contribute observations to a long-term monitoring dataset.
The Historical Society’s follow-up notice says both the 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. cruises sold out. The event was organized as a benefit for the Society.
