Summary
The January 1969 Beaver Beacon listed five Beaver Island-connected students who returned home for the Christmas holidays: Bill Gillespie, Gary Earley, Phyllis Gregg, Ed Wogan, and Joe McDonough. It also reported that Douglas Southern, a December graduate of Beaver Island High School, had begun at Ferris in Big Rapids.
