Summary

The Beaver Island District Library announced its 2023 summer reading programs in May and June, including the teen Summer Quest, an “All Together Now” program, a kickoff party, and a July 1–August 9 riddle program ending with an ice-cream social. A June 2 follow-up said reading logs were ready for pickup. By late August the library reported about 40,000 minutes toward a 100,000-minute community goal; by September 5 it reported a little over 86,000 minutes and again urged residents to submit logs by September 8.
