Summary
The April 1969 Beaver Beacon reported only 26 turkeys accounted for after extensive winter coverage and said Karl Kuebler found remains apparently killed by a coyote. It also reported that Rogers Carlisle and Karl Kuebler were the Island’s two beaver trappers and took nine beaver during the short season.
