Summary
The March 2008 Beaver Beacon reported that President Bush’s proposed budget would reduce several Great Lakes programs, including water-quality work, Army Corps dredging, the Clean Water State Revolving Fund, Great Lakes Fishery Commission support, erosion control, and environmental research.
