Summary
The Beaver Island Historical Society held its annual meeting at the Museum on August 26, 1961. The Beaver Beacon lists A. J. Roy as president, Archie LaFreniere as vice president, Mary Minor as secretary-treasurer, and Jewell Gillespie and Burdene Stromberg as the remaining trustees. The Society also scheduled an October 15 ice-cream social and open house and reported gifts of historic objects and documents.
