Summary
The April 1962 Beaver Beacon reported Joseph (Bud) McDonough’s return after surgery, Marie Johnson’s hospitalization after a heart attack, and Dr. Sydney Schochet’s expected departure from the island medical post because of a cardiac condition. Dr. Raymond Maurer of Detroit had tentatively agreed to take over.
