Summary
The May 10–11 housing information fair led to the formation of a Beaver Island Housing Committee. The August newsletter identifies Pete LoDico, B.J. Wyckoff, Joe Latoff, Phyllis Kayne, Joyce Runberg, and Nina Simpson Jones in the early effort. It describes supportive housing needs for seniors, seasonal workers, and community facilities, and reports that the Health Center board authorized an independent project under its nonprofit status after a June 21 orientation.
