Summary
Island Airways announced plans to expand from five or six daily trips to at least seven or eight as needed for the 2008 spring and summer seasons. The notice described flexible rebooking, a fleet of four Britten-Norman Islanders, an Apache, and a Piper Aztec, and said the de-iced, GPS-equipped Aztec had reduced weather-related delays and cancellations. The company was also investigating turbine aircraft.
Evidence limits
This is a service announcement, not a timetable, flight log, aircraft registry, or evidence that the proposed frequency or turbine acquisition was realized.
