Summary
The January 2006 Beaver Beacon recapped the Islanders’ December volleyball and basketball games. The volleyball team lost its opener to Mackinac Island but defeated Ojibwe Charter; the basketball team lost a 63–61 opener to Mackinac Island and then beat Ojibwe Charter twice.
