Summary

On October 20, 2007, the Beaver Island Islanders won the inaugural Northern Lights League post-season soccer tournament in Sault Ste. Marie. They defeated Hannahville, Paradise, and Mackinac Island, beating Mackinac 2–1 in a sudden- victory shootout for the championship.

A school-community update changed the planned Northern Lights League postseason tournament from a two-day double-elimination event to a single-elimination tournament in Sault Ste. Marie on October 20, and corrected the final home-series dates to October 12–13. The November Beacon remains the stronger source for the championship result.
