Summary

On September 1, 2007, Robert Gillespie and a crew used a loader and crane to return the five-ton Kahlenberg engine to the Bob S. at the Marine Museum. They positioned it in its former cradle and rebuilt the roof opening; the Beacon said about 40 people watched.

The article documents the reported installation and roof work, not a full restoration history or later operating status of the boat.
