Summary
The September 2011 Beacon profiles Mickey Lupa and Chris Jarvis, who left Mackinac Island on August 15 in two kayaks and reached Beaver Island’s east side the next day. Lisa Lange gave them a meal and a chance to shower before they continued toward the Manitous and Newport Beach, Wisconsin.
