Summary

On August 8 and 9, 2005, Mark Kuban demonstrated kiteboarding over the Donegal Bay waves, introducing the sport to Beaver Island residents. The report identifies Kuban as a PASA-certified instructor who brought three differently sized kites for changing wind conditions. A December follow-up letter from Chris Screven says he had been kiteboarding on Donegal Bay every July since 2002, extending the newspaper evidence for local use of the shoreline.
