Summary
After a short notice reported that the Transfer Station cat Little Girl had become seriously ill, islanders offered to help pay for treatment. The March 2008 Beaver Beacon said she was treated, returned to the Transfer Station with medication, and that an anonymous benefactor paid the bill. The cat died about a week later, prompting a public thank-you to the helpers.
