Summary

The November 2002 Beacon reported that Mary Blocksma remained productive after moving Beaver Island Arts to Bay City. Her book Necessary Numbers had arrived in bookstores; Lake Lover’s Year had received an Independent Publisher’s Association memoir honor; Watercolor Magic commissioned an article; and a new color edition of Great Lakes Nature was planned for 2004.
