Summary

The February 2003 Beaver Beacon profiled Mary Scholl’s return to studio work after a fall trip with Marge Peters. Scholl had translated travel photographs into a dozen new paintings, with posters of the works planned for sale at the Toy Museum in summer.

The June 2003 Beaver Beacon later reported that Scholl built a 16-by-16-foot gallery behind the Toy Store and displayed 75 new paintings to 67 visitors on Memorial Day.

Evidence limits

The profile does not provide a complete title list, exhibition record, or sales account for the paintings and posters.
