Summary
The May–June 1968 Beaver Beacon reported that Daniel Greene’s body was returned to Beaver Island for Holy Cross Cemetery burial on May 10 after his December 27, 1967 death. It reported Mary V. McDonough’s May 12 death and May 14 Holy Cross funeral, and Emory M. Gregg’s May 22 death. The issue also published an extended memorial account of Gregg’s FBI career and family.
