Summary
At a December 22, 2004 Charlevoix County meeting, Maylone Enterprises proposed a network combining conventional T1 lines with high-capacity wireless links, including a link to the Beaver Island sheriff’s substation. The proposal also described possible future broadband, Voice over Internet Protocol, public-safety, school, and medical applications.
Evidence limits
The Beacon records a proposal sent to committee; it does not establish that the RFP, tower arrangements, network, or Island-wide service was completed.
