Summary
The November 1994 Beacon reported that Beaver Island’s public memorial tennis courts were open for play, while landscaping, grading, maintenance, and some additional amenities remained unfinished. In a December letter, Harold Hart described the courts as beautiful and usable, thanked the organizers and contributors, and suggested a future island tennis tournament. A Chamber notice in August 2008 still described public courts just outside town on the way to the Beaver Island Lodge, supporting continued public access but not continuous maintenance or unchanged layout.

This is a newspaper completion and thanks report, not a construction contract, dedication record, or maintenance plan.
