Summary

The November 1968 Beaver Beacon reported approximately 25 wild turkeys taken on Beaver Island, including three by bow, 22 by shotgun, and one by truck. About 400 deer hunters were on the island and 97 deer had been taken at publication; the final deer total was deferred to the next issue.
