Summary
The October 1964 Beaver Beacon reported plenty of partridge on Beaver Island, but said heavy cover was preventing many hunters from reaching daily limits. It also described fishing as nearly stopped for two weeks because of wind and repeated Dr. Haynes’s humorous account of having to jump on an anchor line to get the anchor under water.
