Summary
The July 2009 Beacon reprinted July 1909 reports on fishing, harbor improvements, lumber and ferry traffic, lighthouse service, visitors, and a rescue of two boys who drifted overnight on a raft made from two railroad ties. The tug Elliott found them about ten miles out in the lake.
