Summary

The June 1981 Beaver Beacon reports Port St. James entrance signs, renovated Donegal Bay bathhouse and park amenities, a planned tennis-court lot, Hidden Valley trail work, and a purchased access lot toward Keebler Trail and McCaully Point.

Evidence and limits

The report does not establish deeds, builders, exact trail or lot geometry, or later completion.

Open questions

  • Was the Hidden Valley trail, reported “nearing completion” in June 1981, finished, and when?
  • Is the 1981 report’s “Keebler Trail” the same route as Kuebler Trail, and is “McCaully Point” the same place the 1982 report calls “McAnulley Point”?
  • Was the planned tennis-court lot built?

If you can answer any of these, or correct anything above, the archive wants to hear it — see Corrections.
