Summary
Beaver Island residents organized snowmobile safaris on January 3 and 14, 1969. The first route followed the shore over the ice to Bud McDonough’s cabin in Big Sand Bay and returned by the East Side Road; the second was a nighttime surprise visit to Fritz and Anna Steinbach at Sand Bay.
