Summary

The April 1964 Beaver Beacon listed residents returning to Beaver Island after winter travel, including Mary “Vesty” McDonough, Maria Gallagher, Matt Melville, Sybil and Art Larsen, and Raymond Lewis. The May and June issues add further returners, including Ralph Rutt, Nellie and Frank O’Donnell, Mary Early, Mary Gallagher, the A. J. Roys, Helen Collar, and George and Mrs. Ricksers. It also said Archie Minor and Mark Martin had left for positions on lake boats until winter.
