Summary

At its May 4, 2005 meeting, St. James Township hired Darrell Butler Jr. as maintenance man, approved moving the polling place back to the ramp-accessible Town Hall, reviewed school-election results and dust-control bids, and received word that Secretary of the Interior Gail Norton had recommended transferring the Whiskey Point Light deed to the township. The board also approved federal-standard street signs and related street-name changes, put the rock crusher out for bids, resolved McDonough’s Market’s zoning issue through conditions, and declined an AmVets request for township land.

Evidence limits

The Beacon is a meeting report, not the township’s complete minutes or a separate deed-transfer record.
