Summary
The Strang Writers Group scheduled and then reported a 150th-anniversary commemoration of James Strang’s shooting. The July follow-up records five papers, a reenactment before well over one hundred people, Bill Olson’s play reading, a Saturday Simon Otto program attended by about forty people, and plans to publish the papers and scripts.
Evidence limits
The June article documents the planned program and the July article reports its outcome; neither supplies a complete attendance register or the final published papers and scripts.

- A Fremont Middle School participant directed readers to a gallery documenting the enactment. - The announcement invited the public to the student reenactment near the Mormon Print Shop, and a Fremont Middle School participant later thanked the island community for its reception. This confirms community participation and reception but does not replace the Beaver Beacon's fuller program and outcome account.forum · www.beaverislandforum.com · 00 · t000621
